I bought two pair: a 2"and the 3" Telescopic Anvil Ratchet Loopers. I have new growth (green ) and branches of large bush trees to prune back and out. I'm 62 (female) and still do the work myself so I need good reliable tools, for work at the house. These are fantastic in cutting and with the telescopic handles (no more worry or poking an eye out!) Just an average homeowner expressing my FULL satisfaction with your Telescopic Anvil Ratchet Lopper. Admittedly, not used in an commercial environment, but it has performed flawlessly for the past 3 years. I am not sure what I am more pleased with, the ease of cutting with the ratchet action OR the telescopic handle that allows me to stay on the ground vs climbing a ladder. Icing on the cake is the response & support that I received from Trail Blazer customer service department.

VERY satisfied owner of the telescopic bypass lopper #2 which was purchased over 3 years ago. It works flawlessly and while admittedly not a heavy user, I am in tune to quality built products and put this right at the top of my list.
The ratcheting operation makes this a functional tool for users who may not possess the upper body strength that other loppers would demand. That aspect when combined with the extension ability of this tool adds to safety as increased effort or strain by the user is not required AND it keeps me (or my wife lol) off the ladder. Trail building is tough work as I’m sure you know. You don’t have access to power and you’re lugging your tools on your back pretty serious distances. We need tough, burly tools that can stand up to hacking through kilometers of alder, conifers and bushes.

I’ve been lucky enough to use a few Trail Blazer products. Your anvil loppers are simply in a league of their own. I’ve never run into a set of loppers that can chop through two inch alder without slowing down, and can do that all day, every day without having the hinge fall apart like happens on most other loppers I’ve tried. The fact that they’re lighter than most ’heavy duty’ loppers is just the icing on the cake.Phil Tomlinson
