“I’ve been using this on trips since 1997 and it has yet to fail me. It’s made of good sturdy aluminum, assembles well and doesn’t flex when in use. Assembly comes second nature after awhile, and the blade is very durable, takes some abuse and can be sharpened with the right 3 corner file.

The retaining pin that holds the disassembled unit together is the glitch. Lose it and the unit will still work perfectly; but you’ll need to find some way to keep the parts nested.
