This week, I continued to send information about Trail Blazer’s 4 foot assortment and point of purchase signage displaying pruning tools & trail maintenance tools. I delivered & set-up our products at Home Hardware in Greenwood, Nova Scotia. I received news form Home Hardware’s head office in St. Jacobs Ontario. I set up my second Home Hardware assortment this week in Greenwood, Nova Scotia. This growth may never have happened without our first assortment, I set up in Wolfville, Nova Scotia on a 4 foot wall space. Deliveries Continue to be the Main Focus

This week I continued sending information about Trail Blazer’s 4-foot assortment & signage of pruning tools (including Mark’s Choice branded tools for Home Hardware) and continued booking appointments for delivery & set-up. I have deliveries scheduled to begin next week with both Home Hardware stores & Coop Atlantic Country Stores. The production of Trail Blazer’s Jumbo Ratcheting Anvil Lopper continued, while Robert and his team try to take care of customers waiting for deliveries. We were scheduled to deliver in January and a month later we’re scrambling to deliver half the orders … Yes, only half, the second half is still waiting for components that we suspect will arrive in early March. This week continuous improvement continued. I provided our BDC consultant some information required to prepare for profitability training starting next week. Robert Woodman completed an application for provincial support, for more lean training in April. We prepare for store visits, hoping to start next week, to prepare for spring season. 17 years ago (February 1995), I started selling the Trail Blazer Saw (now known as the Take-Down Buck Saw). Along with my dad’s invention, the Xtend-A-Saw; a folding saw equipped with a threaded socket into the bottom of the handle, to accommodate any universal threaded pole (Broom handle) which instantly turns this into a pruning saw for high out of reach areas.
