This week I visited Home Hardware stores in New Glasgow, Pictou & Riverview NB to present our Reverse D-handle Snow Shovels. I delivered hatchets to The Adventure Outfitters in Halifax. I delivered & set up our products at Co-op Country stores & Home Hardware in Antigonish, Yarmouth & Fredericton NB. Our expansion efforts with Co-op Atlantic, the largest co-operative in Atlantic Canada, continued this week with assortments being delivered and set-up in two new locations. Trail Blazer Product assortments are now available in five Co-op Country stores (farm stores with a whole lot more) located in Amherst, Antigonish, Bridgewater and Middleton Nova Scotia. The fifth store expanded Trail Blazer into New Brunswick this week with the set-up at Co-op Home

This week I visited Home Hardware stores in Annapolis Royal, Bridgetown, Digby, Pugwash, Springhill, Wallace, West Pubnico, Weymouth & Yarmouth Home Hardware to present our Reverse D-handle Snow Shovels. I delivered & set up our products at Co-op Country stores & Home Hardware in Amherst, Middleton & Wolfville Nova Scotia. 16 years ago, I was building our Take-Down Buck saw in my apartment on Robie Street in Halifax Nova Scotia. Today, Trail Blazer products are sold by 20,000 retailers in 43 countries, including Home Hardware, Lee Valley Tools and Amazon.com. Now we’re adding snow-removal products! This week I was in Moncton, N.B. and given the opportunity to present Trail Blazer products to the store managers of Co-op Atlantic. I focused on the four foot wall assortment that would cover their tool needs & our Reverse D-handle Snow Shovels & Pushers / Made in Nova Scotia. Co-op Atlantic is the largest co-operative in Atlantic Canada. They work closely with their Co-op Country Stores & Atlantic farmers to ensure they’re provided with information, products & services required to run a successful business. At the end of the process Co-op Atlantic purchases the Atlantic beef, vegetables, Scotian Gold apples & Scotsburn dairy products to make them available in their member-owned Co-op & Co-op Basics stores. Bring Your Child to Work Day

This week I visited Home Hardware stores to set-up snow shovels and Timber Mart to discuss strategies for growth. I was visited by my daughter, Natalie for a day. I met with my banker, accountant and Export Development Canada to discuss access inventory caused by a decrease in consumer spending. Wednesday was bring your child to work day, a time to give our sons and daughters a glimpse of the working world. I must confess I had nothing formally planned for Natalie and I’m not sure what she thought of the day. I found the day to be very rewarding because it gave me extra time with my princess … True, one day does not make up for all those
