A new Line of Xtreme™ Products

Thursday, Ben Cumming and I spent the day in Moncton, New Brunswick visiting with an engineer to discuss a new line of Trail Blazer Xtreme™ products for the outdoor market. In my March 12th blog I wrote about Ben’s love & passion for the outdoors. After attending the Halifax’s Sports & RV show that week (where he was introduced to a local knife maker who designed Triple X & Highland knives) Ben was motivated to begin putting a lot of his time & attention in R&D. He has begun developing new saws, knives, hatchets & machetes for the outdoors industry. I started my day with a walk along the warterfront to see the Olympic Cauldron which is the remaining symbol of the Vancouver

The real story can be found in a set of values that have been handed down from my father. One is perseverance that paid off when Home Hardware, became a national customer. Perseverance is defined by arguably the greatest coach of all time. “The price of
Joining Jim Russell in Bentonville

I joined Jim Russell in Bentonville, Arkansas where we were successful in getting our Telescopic Jumbo Ratcheting Anvil Lopper into Sam’s Club in 2007. This week, we were given an opportunity to present recommendations for spring 2012 and learn more ways that we can serve Sam’s Club. I expect to learn if any of our products are accepted for next spring, within two weeks and our new buyer gave me some homework that I look forward to completing and presenting to her early this week. Sam’s Club is a membership-only warehouse clubs owned and operated by Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., and named after Wal-Mart founder Mr. Samuel Walton. In 1945, after leaving the military, Mr. Walton took over management of his first
