Ben Cumming started with Trail Blazer in January 2008 as an intern from the Nova Scotia Community Collage. He accepted a temporary role on May 1st when he worked in administration, until Sarah Ryall returned from maternity leave in November.

Ben worked in sales for 2 years where he serviced distributors, turn obsolete inventory into cash & worked trade shows with professionalism, except the one time when he got too excited with a pruner & 2 stitches later…..

This week Ben has officially left the sales team & David Boudreau has started excepting application for his replacement. (Sad day?) No way, Ben is joining the operations team with 2 years experience, he received from listening to customer’s needs. He plans to improve various areas within operations to better service our sales reps & customers - with an initial focus on;

1. Procedures to provide samples, set up show logistics, layouts, specials, etc
2. Procedures to fix current product issues & ensure the highest quality possible.
3. Bring 2 years of experience to the R&D department & develop new products .
4. Make sure customer needs are known in regards to packaging & shipping.
