One of the company's most
successful and world-renowned products is the Take-Down Buck Saw.
Originally designed from the earlier wooden buck saw, Trail Blazer
designed a lightweight collapsible Buck Saw with a 18" Swedish steel
blade capable of cutting through a 15-inch log and 18" bone blade
for the successful hunters. Yet collapses into a compact tube for
travel and are easily carried in a pack. The product gained popularity
in 1992 when the North American Hunting Club field-tested
and recommended the Take-Down Buck Saw to all their members. The
product increased its popularity again in 1995 when Trail Blazer
was presented the 1995 Source Canada Vendor Award, recognizing
excellence in Canadian Manufacturing. The product increased its
popularity again in 1999 when Trail Blazer was presented the Field
Tested Tough Seal of Approval by Big Game Adventures, recognizing
