Wow!! My Daughter is Going to High School

This week, I had the opportunity to meet with Dwayne Geldart at Colchester Country Store in Bible Hill to discuss spring results & plans for snow shovels. I visited Home Hardware in Antigonish, Guysborough, Jeddore, New Glasgow, Sheet Harbour, Sherbrooke & Porters Lake. I’m proud Trail Blazer’s new catalogue is now available. I am very pleased & excited to begin offering Trail Blazer’s new catalogue this week. The catalogue includes our Nova Scotia made products. Products including our award winning collapsible saws, pin-locking extension paint poles, Reverse D-handle snow shovels, Telescopic pruners, loppers, shears, Xtend-A Garden Tools, Xtreme saws, knives & hatchets. This week I sent product information and pricing to a potential new mail order company in the United States. I delivered Trail Blazer’s Telescopic Ratcheting Anvil loppers to Fraser’s Pro Home Centre in Berwick. I joined Mark Cullen in Barrington Passage & Weymouth for product knowledge presentations & to answer any customer questions. I was pleased to be able to join Mark Cullen in Barrington Passage Nova Scotia, last Friday afternoon (at 3pm). While I was with him, I had the opportunity to join Mark to perform a Mark’s Choice product knowledge presentation for the staff of the garden centre located at Wilson’s Home Hardware. This week I attended the National Board meeting for the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters in Halifax including a dinner with Darrell Dexter, the Premier of Nova Scotia. I spent the remaining 3 days at the office reviewing supplier performance and production requirements for snow shovels to begin shipping in October. The week started off with the National Board meeting for the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters. As Chairman of CME NS, I have the privilege of attending the National Board Meetings with manufacturers & exporters from across Canada to discuss our members needs. New Distributer in Sweden!!

This week I delivered & set up product at South Eastern Farmers Co-op in Moncton and visited & toured the manufacturing facility at Bouctouche Bay Industries Ltd. in Saint-Edouard-de-Kent. I delivered product to Pictou Fishing Supplies and visited Home Hardware in Cap-Pele, Pictou, Pugwash, Richibucto, Shediac, Tatamagouche & Wallace I drove to Moncton New Brunswick this week to deliver and re-stock Trail Blazer’s Ratcheting and Forged Hand Pruners, Trail Blazer’s Telescopic Jumbo Anvil and Bypass Loppers, at South Eastern Farmers Co-op. This week, in Rhodes Corner, I met Rainer Bressmer at TecBox International, providers of custom made shipping solutions. I delivered product to Glenn’s Ammo & Outdoor Gear in Elmsdale. I visited Home Hardware stores in Enfield, Kennetcook, Shubenacadie, Stewiacke and Truro. I visited Cameron’s paint Centre in Truro Nova Scotia. I met with Rainer Bressmer at TecBox International, to discuss the possibility of them producing a free standing display for our Reverse D-Handle snow shovels. I had a great meeting & tour of their manufacturing facility. So good, I believe they will also be able to provide us with quarter pallet displays to offer telescopic tree pruners in.
