This week I sent product information and pricing to a potential new mail order company in the United States. I delivered Trail Blazer’s Telescopic Ratcheting Anvil loppers to Fraser’s Pro Home Centre in Berwick. I joined Mark Cullen in Barrington Passage & Weymouth for product knowledge presentations & to answer any customer questions.
I was pleased to be able to join Mark Cullen in Barrington Passage Nova Scotia, last Friday afternoon (at 3pm). While I was with him, I had the opportunity to join Mark to perform a Mark’s Choice product knowledge presentation for the staff of the garden centre located at Wilson’s Home Hardware. After the presentation we enjoyed a feed of haddock with David Wilson, Gary Thomas and the Home Hardware staff at JB Restaurant. After dinner, I made myself available to the customers for questions from 6 to 8pm. We both traveled to Yarmouth for the evening where I enjoyed conversation with Mark accompanied with a feed of Digby scallops & Rudder’s brewed beers. We visited Saulnier’s Home Hardware Saturday morning to see how their season was going. Then we both headed to Sissiboo Home Hardware in Weymouth to answer any customer questions from 10am to 2pm.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff of Wilson’s Home Hardware for providing me with a need they have. A need to take a present product that is on the market and make much needed improvements to it’s performance, based on their recommendations. Plus it will provide more sales for Trail Blazer Products Limited.
This week I delivered another much appreciated order of Trail Blazer’s Telescopic Ratcheting Anvil Loppers to Fraser’s Pro Home Centre, a Tim-Br Mart dealer in Berwick … with three other locations in Bridgetown, Kentville & Kingston Nova Scotia. I am both very pleased and excited about how well Fraser’s is doing, selling Trail Blazer products. I look forward to sharing Fraser’s success and introducing Trail Blazer products to other Tim-Br Mart stores, through out the summer, when I present them with our much anticipated and newest catalogue. The catalogue is complete and being printed very soon. The new 20 page catalogue will not only feature our award winning products, it will also feature our staff, plan-o-grams and the story of Trail Blazer Products limited.
I’d like to thank Tom Kennie in Berwick, Dorion MacMillan in Kingston, Jeff Kennedy in Kentville, Steve O’Neil in Bridgetown and the entire team at Fraser’s Pro Home Centre for their much appreciated support of Trail Blazer products … giving us the confidence & proven success to offer our products to all Tim-Br Mart stores across Canada.
I was pleased to receive a request for more information about Trail Blazer’s Telescopic Ratcheting Anvil and Bypass Loppers, made in Nova Scotia. When designing loppers, we wanted tools that weren’t straining on the user, but would stand up to the most sever abuse. Our loppers are built with strong, but lightweight anodized extendable aluminium handles, using a pin lock system to ensure a safe lock & smooth action. The request came from A.M. Leonard, a wholesale horticultural tool and supply company established in 1885. Today they offer a nursery and mail order businesses servicing growers, landscapers, foresters, arborists, contractors, golf courses, resorts, grounds management and gardeners from their 100,000 square foot state-of-the-art distribution facility based in Piqua, Ohio.
We’ve been presenting Trail Blazer products for 17 years now and there are still many companies, just like A.M. Leonard in the United States, who haven’t had the opportunity to review our Nova Scotia made products. Now that Trail Blazer’s new catalogue is complete and sent to the printer, we’ll be making an extra effort to increase distribution.
All the Best, Shawn Levangie
